CELEBRITY, EDITING YOUR OWN cookbook, is a common story. Many are skeptical of this phenomenon, especially when you consider that not all stars have a real relationship to recipes that promote as their own. Nevertheless, among celebrity cookbooks there are a lot of really useful or at least worthy of attention: someone graduated from a cooking school, and someone uses recipes to tell more about their own family, traditions and origin. We tell you which publications you should take a closer look at.

The name Stanley Tucci is hardly associated with cooking, but nonetheless – the actor was a co-owner of a restaurant in New York. “The Tucci Cookbook” is a cookbook with family recipes: in addition to food, a lot of attention is paid to the Tucci family history. As you probably already guessed, this is Italian and Italian-American cuisine – and that’s nice, boring. For those who need more than one publication, Tucci also has a second book, The Tucci Table. This is the same family edition, but this time with his wife Tucci.

Anthony Porowsky is one of the leading Netflix megapopular show “Queer Eye”, responsible for cooking and for changing the attitude of participants in the makeover to food and cooking in general. It is logical that the next step was the book. In Antoni in the Kitchen, the host talks not only about food, but also about himself: about his Polish family and family traditions, filming of the show, his own identity and much more. A nice bonus is the recipe for a Polish hangover soup and, of course, that queso blanco (that is, an American-Mexican cheese snack) that is talked about so much in the show.

An unobvious, but expected edition – do not forget that the rapper led the culinary show with Martha Stewart. Among the recipes, for example, cinnamon rolls, fried bacon and even a doctor’s sausage sandwich. The book shows that Snoop Dogg is the same as all of us: he keeps a semi-finished mak-n-chees and a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator in case you want a holiday.

David Bartka is an American actor whom you may also know as the husband of Neil Patrick Harris. And Bartka is a professional chef: he graduated from Le Cordon Bleu culinary school and owns his own catering company. In the book, he shares party ideas for different seasons and recipes for them (in the end, nothing prevents you from cooking them any other day). And the book is full of family photos.

Kelis is another graduate of Le Cordon Bleu; she has her own line of sauces and food trucks. My Life on a Plate contains a variety of recipes – from hummus to tomato biscuit to mango chutney. Kelis pays special attention to her own family heritage – she has Puerto Rican roots. And no, the milkshake’s recipe is not here.
The name Chrissy Tigen appears in the lists of celebrities who have written really cool cookbooks, one of the first. It is clear why: readers praise her for affordable and enjoyable recipes and corporate humor. Taigen pays attention to a variety of dishes – there are her husband’s favorite chicken wings John Legend, but besides them you can find, for example, many Thai dishes, which is logical – Chrissy has Thai roots.
